Black Cod Fillets (Butterfish or Sablefish)



Black Cod is known as Butterfish or Sablefish.  The skin of the fish is silky to the touch.  The Black Cod Fillets are a white silky texture fish with a rich buttery flavor.  Omega 3 is at its highest level for a white fish.  Chefs love to marinade the Black Cod in a Miso Marinade for up to 3 days.  We love to sear it then finish it up under the broiler with a homemade Anchovy Butter.
