The Alioto-Lazio Fish Company welcomes visitors daily to our location at San Francisco’s iconic Fisherman’s Wharf. Our family has proudly continued this tradition since the 1940s.

We begin our day early, with warehouse doors wide open and bright LED overhead lights that naturally draw in curious travelers staying nearby. For night owls or jet-lagged visitors, watching the live Dungeness Crabs in our tanks offers a unique and entertaining experience.

As the day progresses, tour groups often stop by for engaging discussions about Dungeness Crabs—covering topics like sex, size, and seasonality. We also enjoy sharing our rich family history: how the Alioto and Lazio families came together, how three brothers married three sisters, and how the only brother married the only sister.
